Just Waiting on the Snow

I'm just waiting on the snow. Sure is taking a long time. Mom even got out of school (work) today at 11:00! Still no snow. 

We are ok with it though, because we hate snow!

You Can't Tell

You can't tell from this view, but I've lost .6 pounds so far on my diet. Shelby hasn't lost any. I'm finally winning at something! :)

Deaded!!

We DEADED a squirrel today!! We did! We did! We did!

Mom took a pic to send to Dad because she was "grossed out" and we are "super gross" and "WHY do you DO this GROSS stuff when Dad isn't HOME?!?!?"

(You should have seen her gagging out there trying to bag that thing up. BOL!!! Good thing this was before dinner. Though, now that we mention it she didn't eat much tonight. Hmmmmmm...)

BUT, she won't let us show you. She says that's gross.

And, for the record, we think you smell funny. So, whatever Mom.

A Mil and Her Hog

New Treats!

This week we got some great new treats from Chewy.com! Yum!

We were very excited!

They are Nutro Crunchy Treats and they are wonderful. They're small, which is good since we are on a diet. They have real mixed berries which taste great and smell good. Mom said they even smell like something she would eat! She said they smell similar to blue berry muffins, and we agree. They are 100% natural and give the suggested treats per day based on your weight. Mom loves that feature! They are 6 calories per treat, which we thought was pretty good.

Cold!!!

We know many of you are used to cold weather, but not us! We hate cold weather! 

Last night Milly bundled up with Mom on the couch. 

I stayed bundled up, too. 

Tonight we cuddled on the couch and we are getting in bed early. It's too cold to play outside and we are super sleepy!

Good luck to all of you in the super duper cold places! Mom says we shouldn't complain, but we are from the South. Cold weather is awful to us!

A Little More Walkie

Well, furiends, I gotta tell ya that the vet said I am (gasp) "overweight" and could stand to lose a few pounds. Not to be mean, but if I need to lose a few pounds then Milly needs to lose a bunch of pounds! 

So, yesterday Mom and I set off on a little walkie.

I did some sniffing and some exploring. Not much exercising, though. You know what they say, "no matter how slow you're going you're still going faster than the people on the couch." I'm not sure if that counts the stopping to sniff around or not. 

Of course, I walked along having fun and Mom kept yapping at me. That woman could talk paint off a wall I tell ya! 

After our walk I took a nap. Next time we are making Milly go with us and I told Mom, "next time, lady, a little more walkie and a little less talkie."

I'm Good to Go!

Hi everyone! I had my recheck appointment today and they said I am good to go back to my normal life and exercise. Had to laugh at the exercise part! Unfortunately Mom says we will all be exercising this year and that we will all be eating better and that Milly and I have to go on a diet. I'm ready for February when Mom will go back to eating junk and stop feeding me like I'm a rabbit. Stupid New Years Resolutions.

Anyhow, the point is I am fine! Yay for me!

Dixie

Furiends, have any of you heard of sweet Dixie and what happened to her? It is horrible! There is a Facebook page for her called Dixie's Miracle and you can go there and read all about it and sign the petition. It would really help!!

Long story short, Dixie's pawrents took her to a spa day with her sister. When they picked her up she was in horrible pain and ended up having third degree burns. The spa place won't take responsibility for their negligence. The pawrents have a petition to require pet spas and groomers to have licensure and people who check out the places. Can you believe that doesn't already exist?? OMD!

Anyhow, please google it and find her and help her. She is a fellow Dachshund and needs all the support she can get.
