He TOLD Mom he knew that this would happen... but she didn't really listen.
Let me act it out for ya- And remember that Milly was the one this happened to.
So, Milly and I came out of the house and Mil headed under the deck like this.
And she disappeared. And Mom heard lots of deep growling and some shuffling around.
And Mom started yelling for Milly to come out! Mom remembered what Dad said---
That he thinks CATS sleep under there!!!
And out ran a cat! (I am now pretending to be the cat.)
But no Mil.
Mom kept looking for the Mil and calling her name.
And eventually she came out. She was very upset but not hurt at all. (Except maybe her ego! LOL)
Then I was HOT on the trail of this cat... that went over the fence. (Now I am being me.)
This is the deck that Mom and Dad are planning to tear out anyhow and Mom now says it needs to be SOON!
Here is Mil and her hurt ego.
She won't show her face.
She's upset. Pouting is not her best look.
OMD OMD... Shelby...THAT was a WONDERFUL REENACTMENT OF THE EVENT!!! Sooooo sorry the Cat was not Caught.. butt well, this way you can always have the HOPE of ANOTHER reenactment...
ReplyDeleteNo reason to pout... you did roust the intruder and kept your home SAFE. I think you did a Wonderful job Millie.
Maybe Milly will have better luck with a squirrel. I nose just how her feels!
ReplyDeleteWhat suspense!! Loved the reanactment, BOL

That can be very upsetting indeed. Those cats are no good and always cause such trouble. Don't worry one day you will have the last woof.
