Ohhhh.... warm up my belly, Mr. Sun.

Our Sunday

Our Dad is psychic. Do you know what that means? It means he can tell the future.

He TOLD Mom he knew that this would happen... but she didn't really listen.
Let me act it out for ya- And remember that Milly was the one this happened to.

So, Milly and I came out of the house and Mil headed under the deck like this.

And she disappeared. And Mom heard lots of deep growling and some shuffling around.
And Mom started yelling for Milly to come out! Mom remembered what Dad said---
That he thinks CATS sleep under there!!!

And out ran a cat! (I am now pretending to be the cat.)
But no Mil.
Mom kept looking for the Mil and calling her name.
And eventually she came out. She was very upset but not hurt at all. (Except maybe her ego! LOL)

Then I was HOT on the trail of this cat... that went over the fence. (Now I am being me.)

This is the deck that Mom and Dad are planning to tear out anyhow and Mom now says it needs to be SOON!

Here is Mil and her hurt ego.

She won't show her face.

She's upset. Pouting is not her best look.

Lily's Request

Lily did a post yesterday about her Mom's nicknames. We thought we'd join in on the fun!

Now, our Mom has tons of nicknames for us.
Shelby: Cobra, Cobe, Wobra, Wobe, CobeWobe, (and mostly) BeeBersonPerson or ShBeeBerson... the list goes on and on.
Milly: Mil girl, Mil girl Plop, MaMil, MiMa, MilMae, MilMae Plopper Pants, Mil Boot, Boot, SilMil, MilSil, MilMillerson... again, the list goes on and on.

And they wonder why we don't come when they call us "Milly" and "Shelby."

Anyhow, we have some nicknames for our pawrents, but we just have a few for each.
Mom: Mommerson, Mom Lom, Crazy Woman... we mostly called her Mommerson.
Dad: Dadderson, Wadderson, DadWad... we mostly call him Wadderson.

Guess we're not as creative as Mommerson and Wadderson. BOL!!!!!!!

The Cake

So, our cookies were yummy... but the cake turned out AWFUL!!! Mom said it tasted like cornbread. It is not supposed to taste like that.

So, she made another one yesterday.

And it tasted like cornbread again.

Different recipe.

So, we're telling Mom she's not a baker and she should leave the baking to the people at Kroger. hahahaha!

Mom's Home

You know, Mom is a teacher. So she gets to stay home on the weekends and every now and then she gets a day off. Today was one of those days.

This is what she made for dad.

Here is me, Shelby, ending a yawn. "Where's MINE?!"

I give up.

Here's me... heard the timer and I know what that means!!!

Crunchy peanut butter cookies for ME (and Milly).

We Prefer the "Nake"

Yeah yeah, Mom, we get it. You think these shirts are cute.
We, however, prefer the "nake."
(As in, we like to run around butt-naked.)

Our Flake of a Mom

We told you about this already, but two(ish) years ago our pawrents made a very flaky decision. Our pawrents decided to move to Florida. We lived in good ol' South Carolina then (and keep in mind we do now). We packed up all our junk, loaded the truck, and drove alllllllllllll the way to Jacksonville. We got there. Mom and Dad hated the house and the neighborhood...

Which actually brings us to another flaky story. Mom and Dad rented a house that they had NEVER seen in pawson before. Like, never. They'd seen pictures on the internet, but had never been there in pawson. Mom says that in their defense (like there could possibly be a defense for being flaky AND stupid) they didn't have much time to pack up, load up, travel, and unpack before Dad started his job. {Mom and Dad learned a valuable lesson that day- you cannot always trust photos!}

Anyhow, we drove all the way there. Took FOREVER. Turned around and drove all the way back. What a day. Goodness gracious, what a day!!

So, our Mom (and really Dad, too) is flaky because she (and Dad) made us move and then not move all in one day.

So much for the Sunshine State.
