I went to e-mail you but saw you didn't have a link for it so I hope it's ok to reply here about what you asked? Nope not your imagination. I was gone from Thursday til Sunday eve. Then ended up not feeling too good I have a cold. Ugh. So the posting was limited. :) Kai's reaction was loss of fur. I gave him a 5 way shot and right before that he had a Benydryl ( alergy tablet, pink adult size ) So far not one bit of reaction. I think it may have been due to either A. an old shot or B. one that wasn't kept properly. Maybe you could give your babies the lil magic pill before their next "dues" and see if that may help some. Sure seemed to help Kai. :)
Oh my gracious ... I SAW your e-mail after checking out all your buttons on the page. I'm such a dork .. Well ... hope it's ok that I posted the reply as a comment. Next time I'll send a note. LOL
Haha! Posting on here is totally fine. We give them Benedryl, but they get hives anyhow. Last time Shelby has COVERED in them and the vet said that this is putting her life in danger because the reaction was so bad. I'm looking into other options for her, though. It's just not worth it to me to risk losing her over shots... but, unfortunately, the law says otherwise!
You should be able to get a note from your vet stating that both of them have "horrific" reaction to shots. It works here from what I've heard.
I'll look into that. Thanks for the suggestion!
Hey!! You can change a posting date at the bottom of a post when editing it where it says posting options. Just letting you know because I figured that out after taking weeks and weeks to write posts, and then they weren't even visible!! ;o) Ha Ha , silly me!! ;-D So exciting!! :-D
lol thanks Auntie Marlie! :)
